A place of peace and tranquility

But in reality it is a dystopia

A place without any equality

We are a few out of thousands lured by your beacon

Enticed by the empty promises you gave

Shadows of lies were spread and transparency is forsaken

A web of lies ensured we behave

Like a maze we are lost

Wandering aimlessly to find the exit

But freedom was our cost

And your corruption now exhibit

But your laws and oppression won’t hold us

We see through your lies like glass

Revolt is a must

A revolution will happen

We will take back our lives

And their oppression will be forgotten

As their oppression will no longer see them thrive

It makes me cry every time I visit you

Seeing that stone among the many others

Yet somehow I feel like you accomplished your mission

And only now did I get the clue

You helped me learn to find melodies among the silence

And now the world is my symphony

A place that is missing a precious piece

Yet I will continue to sing Our melody with resilience

Our little dove is learning to fly

Singing their own melody

One day, that melody will reach someone

But sometimes I feel like our dove is a little shy

I will make sure their melody will be just as clear as yours

It will be a long time before I hear you again

So in that time, I will play a melody worth listening

We let our melodies sing loud and clear

But deep down, you are fading away

And soon, silence was all I can hear

I worked up the courage to ask you that day

And the horrifying news that is to come next

Your melody had already started to fade

And now everyday I get is a short text

But the pain on your face is like shade

I spent countless nights researching your condition

I was delusional to think that I can find a cure

But all I can find was how to give you the proper nutrition

My constant worrying has made me unsure

Yet you lay there on the hospital bed with a smile

Even in your condition, you are still trying to let your melody be heard

Maybe it is me that was deaf to your melodic trial

My priorities had been blurred

The melodies I hear is more than just your love

It is our memories and views toward our life choices

Watching you sit there playing with our little dove

Makes me want to sing you a symphony with all our voices

The silence around me was unbearable

Until I heard your soft melody

Playing gently through the the sea of void scrambles

You allowed me to hear your melody through my ears and body

You came into my lonely life and let your melody be heard

Soon, I started to hear my own melody within my own agony

Together we made our melodies sing like birds

And it blossomed into a full symphony

Everyone can hear what we have together

Through ups and downs I vowed to stay by your side

Everyday our melodies can be heard farther

And when we created a new melody I cried

I will do whatever I can to fill the silence with our melodies

With our songs we will make this world a better place

When you are sick I will give you the right remedies

You saved me from the darkness I had to face

Without you I would have stayed the same

And I am sure without me,  you would not be who you are today
